ZOLL AED Plus: Real CPR Help with Depth Measurement
What sets the AED Plus apart from most other AEDs is the depth of the CPR feedback. The built-in sensor in the CPR-D Padz measures the depth of chest compressions, while an adaptive metronome guides the pace. The device actively provides verbal feedback when compressions are too shallow and confirms when the technique is correct.
The CPR-D Padz consist of a single piece: a sensor strip connects both electrodes, making accurate placement easier. The Padz are suitable for adults and children over 8 years old or weighing more than 25 kg. For younger children, separate Pedi-padz are available.
With an IP55 rating, the AED Plus is resistant to dust and water jets. Both the battery and electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 5 years; if the device is not used, they only need to be replaced once during its entire lifespan.
ZOLL supplies the AED Plus with a 7-year manufacturer warranty upon registration of the device.
