Fire-resistant safety line steel, with hook - 30 meters with steel core 5mm - MED/SOLAS

This lifeline is used as a part of marine fire-fighter's outfit. It consists of a 30 mtr stainless steel wire and has a diameter of 5 mm fitted with a spliced thimble and snaphook at each end.

For each breathing apparatus a fireproof lifeline of at least 30 mtr m in length shall be provided. This lifeline have a minimum nominal breaking load of at least 10 kN, and is able to withstand a static proof load of at least 3,5 kN for 5 min without failure.
This lifeline is capable of attachment by means of a snaphook to the harness of the apparatus or to a separate belt. This lifeline YBLL1 and its associated fittings are of materials materials unlikely to creat sparks.

This fireproof safety lifeline was approved of SOLAS/MED by DNV, can be used for marine fire-fighting.The test carried out and confirmed compliance of this lifeline according to IMO Res. MSC.98(73) – FSS. Code Chapter 3 2.1.3, ISO 23269-2:2011. Para 4.28, EN 532 and IMO Res. MSC.307(88) – 2010 FTP Code Annex 2 Para 1.

Material:
The line of the fire proof safety line is made of stainless steel with plastic (polyvinyl chloride) coating. The snap hook are made of stainless steel. So this fire proof safety line has superior anticorrosive feature, suitable to use in terrific marine environment.

Working Principle:
This fireman safety lifelines are capable of being attached by means of snap-hook to the harness of the breathing apparatus (SCBA) of fire-fighters or to a separate belt in order to prevent the breathing apparatus detached when the lifeline is operated.

Static proof load: at least 3,5 kN for 5 min
