The NL2 is the ideal chart to experience the Waddenzee region. The water sports area is characterized by a high tidal range and a rough, sometimes almost untouched landscape. The chart covers the German island Borkum, but then quickly goes over to the Dutch side. There you can find Schiermonnikoog, Ameland, Terschelling, Vlieland and Texel, the five inhabited islands in the Wadden Sea, all of which have a large marina. But the coastal areas from the mouth of the Ems via Lauwersoog to the beginning of the IJsselmeer are also covered. The current nautical chart of the Waddenzee contains all nautically relevant information such as depths, buoys, restricted areas, tides etc. and is the basis for a safe journey. In this sea area you can expect rough winds, changeable tides and sometimes longer waiting times when entering and leaving a port. It is also helpful to familiarize yourself with the conditions in the Wadden Sea before starting your journey. But for this you are rewarded with a nature that sometimes seems deserted with long, bright beaches, dunes, small fishing villages and beautiful sandbanks. An area that may demand a bit of flexibility, but which you can also enjoy to the fullest. Thanks to the clear structure of the nautical chart, the skipper can quickly find approaches, harbours and anchorages and is informed of important navigational details that also appear in the NV Charts app. The tide data and current information are also available in the app. The chart series impresses with its detailed scales and optimal sheet cuts. This chart set contains1 Passage Charts11 Coastal Charts17 detailed chartsCode for the nv charts AppDigital charts & navigation program 365 days licenceCurrent data in the digital chartsTidal calendarPaper harbour plans & DigitalMeets legal requirements for up-to-date paper charts on board Update - UpdateThe chart sets for the Netherlands are published annually in updated editions.
