Tide tables Netherlands - 2025

The tide also plays an important role in keeping the Netherlands safe. In this time of rising sea levels and climate change, we use the tidal information from measurements in recent years to keep a finger on the pulse. The Water Management Centre of the Netherlands, which emerged from the storm surge warning service established in 1921, uses the tidal calculations when issuing storm surge warnings. The experts at water boards use the tidal exceedance probabilities to determine the required dike height for maintenance and improvements.
